- Wash, clean&soak the rice for 20 minutes, drain water set aside, marinate chicken with salt, chilli powder,turmeric powder,coriander powder, garam masala powder, ginger garlic paste, &yogurt for about 15 minutes.
- Add 3 tbsp ghee in a pressure cooker, when it's hot enough add dry garam masala ingredients& bay leaf saute it till spices begin to sizzle..
- Add onion slices, green chilli, saute until light brown, add ginger garlic paste saute again for 2-3 minutes, now add marinated chicken fry for 3-4 minutes on medium flame..
- Now add chopped tomato, mint and coriander leaves, add rice, salt, & lemon juice, give everything a gentle mix, now add water stir once, close the cooker lid, get one whistle, let it cool down, open it and serve hot. You can enjoy with raita/gravy too....
